New Parish Name Survey
As part of our journey together as All Called to Christ, one of the exciting steps ahead is choosing a new name for our united parish family. The names of our individual churches will remain the same, but we now have the opportunity to select a shared parish name that reflects our mission, our faith, and our future together in Christ.
If you have a suggestion for what this new name might be, submit it below with an explanation of why you feel it would be a good choice for our new name. The diocese is asking for our area to develop three names to be submitted to the bishop for his consideration. This is the first step of that process. The name must follow the rubrics below:
A parish may only be named after "the Most Holy Trinity; Our Lord Jesus Christ, invoked under a mystery of his life or under his name as already used in the Divine Liturgy; the Holy Spirit; the Blessed Virgin Mary under a given title already found in the Divine Liturgy; the holy Angels, or a Blessed or a Saint inscribed in the Roman Martyrology."
The ACC Leadership Team invites you to prayerfully submit your ideas for a new parish name by Thursday, May 29. We look forward to hearing your ideas as we continue building this parish family together.
